24 June 2025 | Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences
On 24 June 2025, the SEASONED consortium gathered in Wrocław for the final General Assembly of the project. This dedicated project day marked a key moment of reflection, exchange and strategic discussion before the start of the SEASONED in 4 Seasons international conference.
The day began with a Consortium Board meeting, during which representatives of all partner institutions reviewed the progress made throughout the project’s lifetime. Discussions focused on results achieved in the areas of education, research cooperation and science communication, as well as the long-term value of the sensory science initiatives developed within SEASONED.
In the next session, the Advisory Board provided valuable feedback on the implementation of the project, highlighting strengths in partner collaboration, knowledge transfer, and engagement with early-career researchers.
Later in the day, the session titled "SeasonED Through the Year" offered space for sharing highlights from recent months — including summer schools, research activities, and public outreach such as the Science Café series. It was also an opportunity to hear directly from young researchers, who presented how SEASONED helped expand their academic horizons and develop interdisciplinary skills.
The General Assembly concluded with a guided tour of the Center for Applied Biology and Innovative Food Production Technologies at UPWr — the venue of the upcoming international conference. The tour gave project partners a first-hand look at the research environment and facilities now supporting cutting-edge food science in Wrocław.
